The abundant natural surroundings of Sugiyama are an integral part of our hospitality, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that touches the hearts of our guests.

The lobby is adorned with seasonal flowers and foliage,
enhancing the ambiance of the ryokan.
Through the large panoramic windows,
guests can enjoy stunning views of the clear Nagara River,
Mount Kinka, and Gifu Castle towering at its peak.
From May 11 to October 15, guests can also witness the 1300-year-old tradition
of Ukai (cormorant fishing) from the lobby area.
We have a variety of items available in the lobby, including yukatas.
We provide a selection of items so that guests can choose the right size for themselves, including guide yukatas, obi belts, tabi socks, kinchaku bags, children's yukatas, and children's amenity sets. Additionally, we offer a welcome drink service.
